By supporting Arts & Health Week, you're investing in a healthier, more connected community through the power of the arts.
Launched in 2024 in response to a national call to action, Arts and Health Week is a free, community-wide celebration that connects residents with arts experiences that support individual and community well-being. By amplifying the organizations already doing incredible work across Polk County, we are able to strengthen partnerships, increase participation in the arts, and demonstrate how creativity contributes to healthier people, stronger neighborhoods, and a more vibrant local economy.
Research continues to show that communities that invest in arts and culture experience benefits that extend far beyond the stage or studio, including civic engagement, stronger social connections, improved quality of life, enhanced economic vitality, and more attractive resilient communities.
